We’re expecting a huge Salmon and Halibut year for our waters for the 2025 season.
The 2024 season saw some of the best fishing in our waters in the past 30 years. The DFO (Department of Fisheries) are predicting another Huge Salmon and Halibut year for the 2025 - it’s going to another gangbuster season. We are now taking reservations for 2025, so don’t miss out!
We are fishing from the fabulous Port Eliza Lodge - only minutes from some of the most productive fishing waters on the entire West Coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia. For the past 30 years, this area has been famous for its fabulous Salmon, Halibut, Ling Cod, and Albacore Tuna fishing!
Our 2025 Fishing Season opens May 1st and runs until the end of October. We are offering 4 Night/ 5 Day and 3 Night/ 4 Day options for both our Halibut/Salmon Express and Combo Tuna/Halibut/Express packages.
New for 2026 will be our Saltwater Fly Fishing packages. We are also offering a Combo Halibut/Salmon/Fly Fishing package.
All our 4-Night packages are from Sunday to Thursday, and our 3-Night packages are from Thursday to Sunday. If you have any questions please email us using our contact form.
Come and join us at the lodge for some fabulous fishing. We have 20 comfortable rooms, double or triple occupancy, with private or shared bathroom options. We serve complimentary wine or beer with your dinner in our indoor lounge or huge outdoor deck. We can accommodate large groups too!

Getting to Port Eliza Lodge: Please let us know if you have any questions!
FLY-IN: We recommend you fly into Vancouver, BC and book a flight to Campbell River with Pacific Coastal Airlines (from the South Terminal of YVR). We will meet you at the Campbell River airport and drive you to the Port Eliza Lodge.
DRIVE-IN: For those of you that will be driving from the US we suggest driving up the I-5 to Blaine, Washington, and crossing the border there. Once across the border, you then drive to the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal and take the ferry to Nanaimo (Duke Point).
From Nanaimo, proceed up the Inland Island Highway to Campbell River. It is a little under 2 hours.
Once you reach Campbell River, it is about 2-1/2 hrs to Zeballos. Take Highway 19 to Port Hardy - the turnoff to Zeballos is about 15 minutes past the turn-off to Woss. It is then about a 1/2-hour drive to Zeballos once you turn off Hwy 19. Once you arrive in Zeballos, drive down to the Government Wharf and you will be met there and taken by boat out to Port Eliza Lodge. Don't forget to bring your 200 qt cooler out to the Lodge!
